INDIVIDUALITY AND CRIMINALITY

Major Root Causes to Conflicts

What’s up?
The worries about the individuality concepts are severally listed from immorality to highly depraved and egocentric human proclivity and individualistic will drives, assessed within several criminalization measurements. These of course, are contrary to the most essential values of human existence as a collective phenomenon. As such, the self-centered or egoistic individual phenomena would be deemed regressist to modern human development prospects that seek solidarity and community in first place. This also makes individualism an inter-personal conflict promoter within the society.
  1. If this be the case, could we therefore be implying that, the individualist values of liberty and freedom within the normative standards of human or individual rights are contradictory presuppositions in modern development paradigms of community and solidarity?
  2. If it still be the case, why is it that, precepts from the individualism conception are constantly used in shaping most, if not all human development perspectives?
  3. In reflection to individualism’s conflict promoter opportunism and criminality, could the values of individual liberties, freedoms and rights be blamed for modern barbarism or ceaseless inter-human conflicts or, could they be praised for mechanizing human beings into modern development machines?
What’s Down?
Though individualism precepts have been harshly criticized to inculcate significant incentives for human moral and co-existential destruction, it however, still forms the basis of most highly rated human and economical development perspectives. As an example, globally,  the speedy and exponential growth of most private economies have been strongly promoted by individualistic existentialist business approaches and, even the establishment of the universal declaration of human rights is founded on the basis of a liberalist individualism prospectus.
  1. What could be an ethical approach or reason to such a regressist, and at the same, progressive value of the individualist conceptions?
  2. Competivism can be acknowledged as a trusted agent of individualism, yet, its influence fosters collective development, though from individualists angles, should we therefore regard individualism as a catalyst factor for collective growth?
However, individualism, though presented as a counter human solidarity growth concept, if properly merged with the collectivist theorems, it may be the most enlightened route to an expedite human development process, both in the economical and human dignity prospective.

CORRUPTION: Things Falling Apart

Corruption Burns Your Soul

What’s up?
Through an assessment from a number of contemporary perspectives, a generalized conception of the phenomenon of corruption portrays it as a sort of evil and ethically derogatory influence on the human being and his/her environs that leads to destruction or regression. This entails that the majority of human societal actions causing degeneration on cherished societal morals and peace, may have their root causes from corrupt acts.
Also, from an inherent consensus that convicts all human beings as born culprits of the crime or offense of corruption, it becomes plausible that we all, are bound to live with  the corrupt nature while, only fairly striving to accept and adhere to the anti-corrupt models within the society.

  1. Can we really identify any major societal ill or conflict that does not have any linking causal roots to the phenomenon of corruption?
  2. Is it possible for us to deny our true selves in order to adapt to morally modest societal standards?
  3. Within both moral and physical perceptions, in what ways can we identify with the conceptive impacts of corruption?
  4. What will be left of the society when such a barbaric conception of corruption is made manifested within such a society?
What’s Down?
Despite the fact that corruption is being maximally criticized from several perspectives and considered the as a societal ‘evil’ which impedes development and destroys the ethical values of proper moral conduct, some writers still argued that, it also has a positive development scope which have been necessary for the economic growth of certain countries and the facilitation of complex bureaucratic proceedings. In focus, Daniel Kaufman’s central theme of the ‘grease-the-wheels’ argument claims that bribery may allow firms to get things done in an economy plagued by bureaucratic holdups and be a way to get around tax and regulatory burdens.

  • If corruption, therefore, at one instant become a positive aspect to facilitate economic processes, then, why is it widely classified and generally addressed with a bitter amoral sensitivity reproach?

DEMOCRACY AND CONFLICTS

Does Liberty and Freedoms Cause Conflicts?

What’s up?
The concept of democracy as a conflict catalyst has mostly been criticized by scholars and other followers of the democratic discuss.  Assuming that, the modern democratic development process considers individual welfare in concurrent competition with the universal declaration of the human rights, the major difficulty will thus rest in the authority of the entire community in regards to its minorities. The question here goes thus:
  • If the majority rule holds, then, what happens to the minorities?
  • Are we certain that, such minorities will stay silent in the midst of their disregard?
Fair enough issues of modern democratic development, just as in almost every other domain, are being tempered with justice in order to see into the needs of the minorities. Yet there is still a controversy here that needs to be seriously addressed:
  • Is there any rule of law that has a clean jurisdiction and autonomy without the arbitrary intervention of justice?

What’s Down?
Individualistic tendencies have always been the root causes of separatist goals and desires within the society, especially within groups’ or State politics. Now, the modern development and growth of individual liberties under the spectrum of liberal constitutionalism, grants individuals autonomous rights and freedoms to act under the law and which, they become only limited within the abstract conception of such abstract rules, as accepted by all.
  1. With the individualistic or egoistic and belligerent nature of human individual majorities, what becomes of such individual autonomous rights within the society?
  2. Knowing that the majority of individuals will not hesitate to wage a war against one another for egoistic benefits, what becomes of the society that ‘licitly’ provides liberties and freedoms that could promote such individualistic or egoistic tendencies?
  3. At the tail, are democratic freedoms and individual liberty ideals best suited to contain and maintain the divergence of human egoism and aspirations vis-à-vis human actions in the context of a free and peaceful world?

TYRANNY AND PEACE: A Virtual Spectrum

Lost Hopes

What’s up?
No matter how obvious the virtual spectrum of peace and stability within a country ruled by a tyrant may be, based on several exemplary cases, it usually becomes very disastrous for the long term stability of peaceful solidarity within such a country.
As such, it’s not uncommon anymore to see that within several autocratic regimes that have been toppled, their actual analytical situations have proven that, the situation of peace within those countries worsen as the days go by.

  1. If we are seeking for peace and stability, but still have it that, when a tyrant or an autocrat is dethroned for the sake of democracy and individual liberties, all that is left is discrimination, chaos and continues struggles to succeed power, was there really a need to topple the virtually stable regime in the first place?

What’s Down?
Reflecting on autocratic regimes that faced virtual peace and stability such as: Egypt, Lybia, Zaire, and Iraq, that have been toppled, it is clear to predict that, the citizens within those countries face worse conflicts and insecurity as compared to their former country regime status.
With the mentioned reflection, it becomes probable to induce that, if the actual purpose for toppling an autocratic regime is to sort a more peaceful society, then, this has been a failure because, the victimized country situation become very unstable. Also, the failure arises from the fact that, the new zeal political leadership in charge is still very inapt to consolidate modern pragmatic democracy aspirations of the country people in correlative respects with their formerly understood autocratic governance mechanisms. As such, permanent conflicts and battles over diversified and crisscrossing new deal political aspirations.

  1. If the paramount objective for governance actions is to maintain peace and stability within the society, what can you say in respect to the situation of a government that seems to be in peace under a tyrant, but when toppled, severe political crises become predominant and increase insecurity?
  2. Is it necessary to change or abruptly topple a seeming autocratic rule which provides security to its citizens and leave it in the hands of unprepared political amateurs or should such systems instead train their political elites towards the maintenance of peace and stability?

However, in every situation we may suppose that:
All is virtual and we can only know it’s real when it succeeds us, and even when it succeeds us, we still do not know because we are not there anymore, so, the best alternative will be to preserve it till it succeeds us, then as such, we suppose it’s real
This is Sustainable Peace
